A week in Instragram #1

Got my highest score on Temple Run - so addictive / Saturday morning Eastenders catch up / Shoving hair up after work / Daily make up everyday this week / Got rid of my blackberry for my iPhone 4s / Revising for my last exam on Monday / Yummy jacket potatoe with tuna & salad / Rekindling my love for MAC Shy Girl / Found these crips - faves as a young 'en / Morning sun at the bus stop / Messy hair & bad lighting / Minimal make up: all that glitters e/s and shy girl on the lips.

Finally got my iPhone 4s and I am LOVING it,
really, how did I live without it?

Paperchase diary, GLAMOUR magazine, wedding invitation, pink pen (obvs!), primark avaitors, GUESS glasses, keys, passport

tangle teezer, headphones, river island purse, MAC studio fix, MAC cbb, revlon lip butter, UNE skin glow pencil, clinique chubby lip balm, clinique high impact mascara, sigma miss taylor kabuki.

Thought I'd update my 'whats in my bag' as I got my lovely new bag the other day!
I keep my diary and magazine in the front compartment along with my glasses when I'm wearing contact lenses, and my passport and keys stay in the zipped pocket, I always carry my passport for ID.
I keep my purse and tangle teezer in the back compartment as I reach for them the most and all my make up bits, which are all my necessaties: powder, creme colour base which I double up as a blush, two natural lip colours, a mascara and my the une pencil which is brill as a concealer to touch up.

ALDO Journot

Say hello to my new baby! The ALDO Journot bag in Bone, I bought this yesterday from Meadowhall when I went shopping with my Dad and I must admit I just love the service I received in the shop, I had a lovely lady come over and help me choose a bag with the requirements I wanted (medium sized, versatile colour, not black, individual sections inside and gold hardware) and she definitley came up trumps with this! I love the inside of it too and the fact it has a removable shoulder strap should I wish to carry it that way.
I'm not usually a fan of patent but I think this bag just looks so classic and a lot more expensive than it's £40 price tag and it definitely feels more expensive too.

Current Favourites

Maybelline Forever Strong Pro Polish - Nude Rose, MUA Eyeshadow - 1, MAC Satin Eyeshadow - Soba, MAC Studio Sculpt - NC25, MAC Matte Eyeshadow - Espresso, MAC Veluxe Pearl Eyeshadow - Woodwinked, MAC Creme Colour base - Shell, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails.

My favourite nail polish at the moment has to be Maybelline Forever Strong Pro Polish in Nude Rose, it's such a gorgeous dusky pink colour, it takes a good three coats to look opaque but its just a beautiful colour and I've been wearing it constantly. I always pair this with Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails, which makes this polish last a good 6 days before it chips and needs to come off, the Hard as Nails is amazing and I used so much of this stuff after I had my acrylics taken off, cos they knackered my nails!

My favourite eyeshadow combo as of late is so easy to do, it sounds like SO many products but takes literally 2 minutes, I firstly apply the MUA eyeshadow in shade 1 all over my eyelid with a Sigma E55 brush not very neatly I must admit I kind of just brush it all over concentrating on the inner corner. I then use the free brush everyone gets with the naked palette to pat over the top MAC's Soba, I then use a Sigma E30 pencil brush to brush some woodwinked gently over the centre of the eyelid, just for a teeny bit more bronzey shimmer, and then using the same E30 I take MAC espresso into the crease, sounds a lot but is so much quicker than faffing with eyeliner! I also use MAC espresso on an eco tools angled brush to fill in and elongate my eyebrows and use the MUA shadow on my brow bone too!

Finally, my favourite face combo has been using the MAC Studio sculpt on a real techniques buffing brush which gives the most gorgeous natural glowy finish to the skin, my favourite highlighter to use with the studio sculpt is the MAC cbb in shell, which just melts into the skin beautifully and lasts all day, I apply this with clean fingers onto the top of my cheekbones, cupids bow and down my nose, mega love for this combo!
